LinkedIn is a strange place. At it’s best it connects people, but at its worst, it is a bastion of cringe-worthy self-promotion.
So instead of promoting myself, I dedicated my LinkedIn posts to talented friends of mine throughout the industry. I would also buy URLs that celebrated them and pointed these URLs to their portfolios.
These got lots of comments from around the industry from people who knew these talented people and reminded them of what great people they are to work with.
